Oi,
So it has been a good week. Busy for sure. Thursday we had interviews with President Packard, which went well. Friday we had Zone Conference. That went well. It’s always fun to get together with all of the
missionaries. Elder Lundgren was there, and so we took a family photo…
Grandpa, dad and the kid. It was pretty cool. That doesn't happen very often in the mission, where you get grandchildren. Then Saturday and Sunday we had district conference. Those went well too. Life just gets busier and busier. It’s good though. The area is going well. We've got some people who we're fairly excited for, so it ought to be good. The cool thing about our area is that we have all of the tall buildings in Beira, but we have to climb stairs, although we see some really cool views from way up there. Sunsets here are pretty amazing too. One day a lesson fell through, and so we were just doing road contacts and we wound up on this sweet beach right at sunset. We took a couple of pics and just enjoyed it for a few minutes. It was way cool though. There was a ton of colors all over the place. I can't believe the BYU kids are back home. That’s totally insane. Weird that everyone is getting married too. I remember coming back home, that seems like forever ago, but at times, not long ago at all. It’s weird. The time is flying by, but it still seems like all I've know is the mission. It really is two different lives. The life before the mission. Then life starts over on the mission and I'm sure you have another life after the mission. The branch presidency hasn't been reorganized yet so I don't really know what’s going on there plus we no longer have an elder’s quorum presidency and so leaders are dropping like flies. We'll see how that starts going here in the future.
Sounds like Greg’s family are getting excited to have the baby and the new home theater room. I can't wait to come home and try that thing out. Oh, and to see the new baby of course... I'm just surprised that Greg didn't paint it in Cougar blue with gold trim.
The phone call, still not sure... I'll let you know next letter. We'll all have to coordinate with the phone usage...1 phone for 4 guys. Got to figure that all out. So ya, we'll talk this week. Anywho. It’s been a good week. Hope all is well and that things are going good. Love you all and miss you!!
