Oi,
Well, it has been another good week out here. Elder Fiallo left on Friday for Tete and will return on Wed. so for the time being, I’m still with Elder Cunha. To be honest, I didn’t really want to go back to Tete. Tete is blistering hot right now and so I would rather just stay here. So it has been nice. This week has been good. We had transfer meeting. Turns out that Elder Fiallo and I will stay together for another month. A transfer is 6 weeks, but he’ll leave after only 4 weeks of the transfer. After that, either President will call another Assistant (makes the most sense to me) or he said he might just have me work with a Branch missionary for two weeks and then call a new assistant after those two weeks... so we’ll see what he decides.

Well today was the start of my 14th transfer, super weird to say that. Even weirder to say that I’ve only got 4 months left. Elder Steffensen (was the assistant before me) he went out to the airport yesterday to greet his parents (they came to pick him up too) and it was super weird. Even weirder to think that that is going to be me here pretty soon. They’re going over to Kruger too. I think they’ll drive over and then come back and leave the car here, and then fly from Maputo to Johannesburg.

I’m glad you guys had fun at BC this week. I missed all the cousins. I’m glad everything else went well. Thanks for the pictures. How was the new baby? I got the Wynn’s Christmas card in the mail the other day. I also got the Lyons, so you will have to thank them for me. I liked it.

Well, it has been a nice week, just nice and overcast. The best way. We’re almost through the worst of the hot season now, and it hasn’t been that bad, just lots of overcast days this year. Apparently
Beira has been bad. Oh, Elder Smoot will be transferred down here to Maputo to be the Maputo zone leader.

Well, glad you are all well, Thanks for the letter!!!

Elder Okazaki
