Oi, So this week has been incredibly busy. A lot of working with the Branch President. It has been great though. He is doing super well. I’m way impressed for how well he's doing with how little he knows. I was talking with Elder Brown the other day and I decided that it was like taking a Priest age kid and making him a Bishop. Pretty tough job but he's doing marvelous. When I first got put in to the Branch Presidency the Branch had a Relief Society Presidency, a Y.W. Presidency (who were all in-active), an Elders Quorum teacher, Gospel principles teacher, Primary President and 2 teachers and that was it. I had no idea how the branch had not just crashed and burned. It was a miracle that we even had a Beira 1. We've now got presidents of every organization with councilors and teachers already on the way. It’s amazing how much Bila has done. It’s great to see all of what is happening. I'm really excited to see that happen. Beira 1 will be a very strong branch in the near future. I can't wait to see that happen. I feel a little bad for Elder Brown though. I think he's getting a little frustrated between all of these meetings we have had, he really has nothing to do and a guy can only study for so long ya know. It’s just one of those things that kind of has to happen though. It has been very busy lately, especially with all of these callings and what not. He's doing well though. I’m correcting him less and less on the language and his understanding is coming along nicely. So on Friday we hit our one year mark. I still cannot believe I'm already half way done. That is amazing to me. I honestly don't know what to think. In the MTC I couldn't even imagine the time when I would be a senior companion. It has been a crazy journey, passing way too fast. I hope Memorial Day was nice. I completely forgot that it was Memorial Day. Church for us this week was good. All the power in Beira was out so the microphones and air conditioning weren't working, which was a little annoying, but it turned out fine. Sounds like Andrew might be the next homecoming king in the family. Will too, I can't imagine him being big. I'm sure mom is having fun beginning to plan the big trip. I'll do what I can do to help. You can probably do all you want to do here in Beira in 1 day. There's a game reserve a little ways outside of the city that might be a little fun to go to. I was thinking if you'd want to come up and see Beira it might be more fun to drive... We could stop at Inhambane on the way up or down. Apparently it has some amazing beaches. The drive isn't too bad. I think you can do it in a day or so but it would be a long day. Inhambane would be a good half way point. So just some ideas to think about. Well, it’s been a good week. Everything is grand and the new house is outstanding. I love it. Well, have a wonderful week and we'll talk to you in a week! Elder Okazaki
