Oi,
Well it has been a good week here. ZLC went very well. Sister Packard made an amazing meal again. We all left satisfied. That night we actually slept at Presidents house. It was super nice. Best shower I've taken in my entire mission by far. I felt like I was in the states again. It was super nice. Sister Packard has put in a set of bunk beds at their home for the missionaries to stay in, when they're sick or traveling, so we took advantage of that offer. It was a good trip overall. We almost missed out flight on the way back, but we got there just in time. Our return flight took us to Nampula, and then back down to Beira, and so we flew over that city. It was at night, so we didn't get to see too much, but just from the lights, it looks like a really big city. Elders Crane and Elizeu will have their hands full. They go up there on Friday. I talked to Tarwater last night. They're ready for Angola. That ought to be exciting as well. They will be living in the church.
This transfer, things were shaken up a little bit. One of our DL's had to become a branch president because there was one being released. One of the DL’s is on his way to Nampula, and another one, was traded out, because of needs in the Branch Presidency. So we've got another new set of DL's to train and work with, so we'll see how that goes. 3 New kids will be trained up here. One is going to be in the same area where I was trained and the other two are both going to Beira 1. Elder Smoot and I will still be together and so we're looking forward to another 6 weeks. This will most likely be my last 6 weeks in Beira. I've had 12 total transfers in Beira, so it’s pretty likely that I'll be leaving Beira next transfer. Who knows where I'll go though. My guess is Maputo, but who knows. I guess in another 6 weeks I'll know.
I was able to see the pictures Greg sent me. They all looked good. Looks like everyone had a fun time in Calif. Sounds like Bapa enjoyed himself too. It was weird to see the pics. Everyone seemed so grown up. I don't know if I'll recognize anyone when I get back. So ya, that was fun to see.
Today we played a big game of soccer out at Inhamizua. It went well. We all went out there and hung out for a little while. Played, then sat around and snacked, while some guys took pictures because they're leaving and what not. Overall a good P-day. The rest of the week for
us will be filled with running people around for transfers and trainings. It ought to be good.
Thanks for voting for me...
I got that letter you guys sent from Jake from Japan... He wished me a Happy B-day. Ha. Anyway’s it was nice to read. I also got one from Geoff in northern Colorado.
Sorry time is short, we spent most of the day doing zone stuff, so we're trying to squeeze in email now... Thanks for the letter's, sounds like things are still going good back home. Well have a great day!
