Hey! So this has been a good week. We’ve been doing a lot of door
knocking. It’s really funny meeting people while knocking on doors. You meet everyone. Muslims who won’t even let you invite them to church, people who think we’re the police or the CIA, and some super cool people too, so it has been fun seeing all of that. However it’s a little hard getting those people to church. Yesterday was good though. We had two people come to church that we’ve been teaching for a while, so it was good for that. The branch is doing a little bit better. It didn’t rain yesterday, so we had 180 people at church. I don’t understand how you don’t have leadership out of 180 people. It’s amazing. It has been raining lately though. In fact it’s raining right now… That rain coat I stole from dad works really well. The other day a huge thunderstorm rolled through and it was way cool. It was at night luckily, so we were at our house. Our house is close to the beach. There’s one row of houses inbetween our house and the beach and so it’s super nice. We can’t see the beach from our house, but its super close, so the wind comes off the water and slams right into our house. And so during this storm, it was cool. A lot of lightening and really loud thunder. Really cool. Elder Briggs slept through the whole thing. I don’t know how he managed to do that. It was way loud. Elder Briggs is doing really well though. I’m glad he’s my companion. It’s nice to have someone you can joke around with when you’re knocking on doors. He’s probably leaving next transfer though so we’ll see who comes in. Elder Briggs has 4 transfers in this area, and so it is pretty much guaranteed he’ll leave. I think I’ll get a junior comp from Maputo to come and work with me, so we’ll see.
We’ve got Zone Conference again. Already. Time is really flying by. I’m going to be home before I know it. Nuts. I did get your package so thanks! It was really good. Thanks. The pictures were great and the CD’s too! Ha. So ya, thanks. This week I also switched to shaving with a razor. It’s way different. My electric one broke, and so I switched over. It’s going well and way different.

So ya, I think it would be better just for me to come home and then
maybe come back later. Even then, I almost think a better way of spending the money would be to go on a vacation somewhere nice... so ya. That’s what I think I’d rather do. So ya, just something to think about. Well, have a good week and what not, talk to ya soon.
